To celebrate President Obama's victory and the victory for change, Lynde has created " A Long Time Coming".  The piece depicts President Obama in deep thought appreciating those in the African American community and entire American society who repeatedly marched, struggled, and gave their lives for equality.  The images Lynde selectively chose were significant time periods, people, and events in the African American and American experience, all leading to January 20, 2009.  The piece was done in oil paint/photo collage on 550lb cotton rag paper, measuring 29" x 42".  This edition is limited to 195 Giclee prints, 20 A/P, and 15 Remarque's on 300g paper.  Prints will be 20" x 28" with a 3" border.
